In April of 2022, Youth Rebuilding New Orleans (YRNO) partnered with Amazon Ring to give away 1,000 free Ring video doorbells to eligible residents in New Orleans.
As of July, YRNO has wrapped the giveaway! All 1,000 doorbells have new homes across New Orleans thanks to everybody who signed up and spread the word.
YRNO is thrilled to have had this opportunity to spread security throughout the community, and can’t wait to present their next venture to the Crescent City!
About Youth Rebuilding New Orleans
YRNO is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2006 in response to the devastation left by Hurricane Katrina. YRNO’s mission is to employ, empower and educate youth towards the betterment of New Orleans. They do this by working with young people in the community to rebuild blighted homes and build affordable housing. In addition to teaching construction skills, YRNO also teaches job readiness, financial literacy, mental health, and social justice.
